LevelUP — Measurement & Carpentry Tools
C&S Industries, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") developed LevelUP. This policy explains how the app handles information. In short: LevelUP does not collect, store, or share any personal data.
Information We Do Not Collect
LevelUP has no account system, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no internet connectivity of any kind. We do not collect your name, email address, location, device identifiers, usage statistics, or any other personal information. Nothing you do inside the app is transmitted to us or to any third party.
Motion & Fitness Data (Room Measure Tool)
The Room Measure tool uses your iPhone's step-counting sensor (Apple's Core Motion framework) to estimate the distance you walk between two walls. This step and distance data is:
- Processed entirely on your device, in real time.
- Never transmitted off your device, stored on any server, or shared with any third party.
- Not retained by the app any longer than needed to display and let you edit the measurement.
You can deny or revoke Motion & Fitness access at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Motion & Fitness; the rest of the app's tools work normally without it.
Data Storage
All values you enter — measurements, unit preferences, calculator inputs, and results — are saved only in your device's local app storage (iOS UserDefaults), so your inputs persist between sessions on your phone. This data never leaves your device, is not backed up by us, and is deleted automatically if you delete the app.
Children's Privacy
LevelUP does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that does collect data — we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
